How many years of data does a producer need to supply to enroll a field?
Question:
I would like to enroll a field in the ESMC’s Eco-Harvest program. How many years of data will I need to supply?
Answer:
In order to enroll a field, the MRV will request the producer to provide the current year’s operational data. In addition to this, the producer will be requested to provide three historical years. As the producer continues with the ESMC Eco-Harvest program, the producer will only be requested to provide their operational data each year. If the producer’s enrollment contains a crop that is not included in the previous three years of historical data, the MRV will request the producer to provide the operational data the last year that same crop was provided.
In the above images, the red box shows the historical years required. These additional years are only required during that first year. As the field continues in the ESMC’s Eco-Harvest program, only that year’s data is required. This is shown by the blue box.
