Highlights

This release resolves the issue with the Crops module copy and paste feature. Users will once again be able to copy data from different years and fields. The copy and paste feature continues to be available for only select sections (“Tillage, Cover Crops, Planting, and Harvest” & “Fertilizer and Pesticides”). To exit the copy and paste feature, users will close the blue copy bin box. This will be in the user’s left-hand bottom corner while the copy and paste feature is activated. Another change included in this release will temporarily disable the Producer Agreement module. Users with enrollments of 2023 and onwards will continue to be able to add fields, practice changes, and provide operational data. The Producer Agreement will be disabled while the new dynamic agreement process is added into the MRV application.

The release also includes an updated map behavior. The MRV’s map feature will no longer create invalid field boundaries when changing from self-drawing mode to the common land units (CLU) selection mode. Users with incomplete/invalid polygons will see those removed as they toggle between the map tools. Another change included in this release was an updated validation on the Crops module’s “Tillage, Cover Crops, Planting, and Harvest” section. This section will now check to make sure the last event is either a harvest or grazing type event. Users will not be allowed to have cover crops and or tillage events after their final harvest. The full list of release notes has been included below.

Added Features

  • The MRV’s Producer Agreement module has been adjusted for producers starting in 2023 and onwards. Users with these enrollments will notice this module has been temporally disabled. Users will still be able to enter their fields, practice changes, and operational data. The Producer Agreement module will continue to be disabled while the MRV is updated to support a dynamic agreement process, such as Adobe Sign.
  • Additional validation has been added to the Crops module. The MRV will now check to make sure a tillage, planting, or cover crops event is not the last event of the season. Users will be required to either have a harvest (either type) or grazing event as their last event of the season.

Known Issues

  • The aggregation on a project’s acreage and field count is incorrect once the project has multiple pages for the producer list.
  • The validation that is being done for producer fields overlapping against others is currently being placed in the Final Review and Submission module. The boundary overlap and other related field boundary validation/verification will be moved from the current module to a future planned page.
  • Producers that have self-registered on the registration page will show a status of N/A on the MRV’s admin pages. Once the producer’s enrollment request is approved or denied, the producer’s status will be updated.

Fixed Issues

  • The Crops module’s copy and paste issue has been fixed. Users will now be able to copy and paste the appropriate sections (“Tillage, Cover Crops, Planting, and Harvest” & “Fertilizer and Pesticides”). This feature will work for a user copying data between years on the same field and across different years. Users will continue to exit the copy and paste feature by closing the feature’s blue box.
  • The bug allowing administrator and staff to invite producers outside the project’s accepted range as been fixed. Each project will now have a dynamic range with which a producer can be invited. If the project needs to invite a producer outside this range, the project’s enrollment settings will need to be adjusted.
  • The self-drawing map feature has been fixed to resolve the issue with invalid boundaries from being created. Users that utilize the drawing feature will no longer see the unfinished boundaries and or points when toggling from the self-drawing mode back to the common land unit (CLU) selection mode.
