Highlights

This release includes the beginning work of the MRV’s new review process. Once fully integrated, the producers Fields and Practice Change module will be reviewed for additional issues. While the release contains the additional validation, the MRV user will not see this feature until additional changes are made. Users will continue to go through the current validation via the Fields and Practice Changes’ done button.

One of the main issues fixed in this release is the blank page seen by the users with an adviser/delegate role. This issue was also affecting producers who were also marked as a adviser/delegate for another producer. The resolved issue will now allow users to see the list of producers that have been attached to their account. The process of assigning an adviser/delegate has not changed and continues to be only done via a producer’s own invite. Advisers/delegates will not see this producer until they have followed the invitation link. Another issue fixed in this release was the bug affecting producer enrollments. The project’s minimum and current enrollment settings were not correctly tied to the validation and prevented users from submitting their Producer Agreement. Now, each MRV project will have its own enrollment settings and using the correct value with the submission validation. The full list of release notes has been included below.

Added Features

  • The MRV’s planned review process, which is after the Fields and Practice Changes module, has begun to be included within the MRV application. While normal users will not see this review page and or have their current producer status changed, the review page has started to be built into the MRV. The review page will show the reviewer that the producers passed automated checks along with additional checks. These validation items will be seen either as a “warning”, “manual check”, or “Error/fail” and will provide the reviewer with additional information related to the flagged issue. The MRV will continue to have improvements to fully incorporate this review process.
  • The practice change of Conservation crop rotation has been activated and now available  for projects to include in the list of accepted practice changes. Users will only see this practice change if the project has the change marked as one that open to producers.
  • The cover crop event in the Crops module has been updated. Users will now see the aerial seeding question at the bottom of the dialog instead of having to scroll. This will allow for quicker data entry and resolve confusion on why the section was unable to be marked as completed.

Known Issues

  • The aggregation on a project’s acreage and field count is incorrect once the project has multiple pages for the producer list.
  • The validation that is being done for producer fields overlapping against others is currently being placed in the Final Review and Submission module. The boundary overlap and other related field boundary validation/verification will be moved from the current module to a future planned page.
  • Producers that have self-registered on the registration page will show a status of N/A on the MRV’s admin pages. Once the producer’s enrollment request is approved or denied, the producer’s status will be updated.

Fixed Issues

  • The blank landing page for users with the adviser/delegate role has been fixed. Users that are either an adviser/delegate and or a producer with the double role will now see their linked producer accounts displayed properly. If the adviser/delegate was not already invited or did not complete the invitation link, the list of shown users will continue to show as blank.
  • Additional images have been added for the “Drainage water treatment” and “Surface water treatment” practice changes. These images will appear on the MRV’s registration page when the user is selecting their desired practice changes.
  • The bug affecting the MR project’s enrollment submission has been fixed. The project’s minimum enrollment and current enrollment data points have been corrected to ensure the producer’s submission is conforming to the project’s settings. Users attempting to submit enrollments that are earlier than the project’s minimum enrollment year will see an error. Users attempting to submit an enrollment for the project’s current year through maximum year, will be allowed and will not see a warning. Note, the Producer Agreement is currently disabled and pending more work for the 2023 and onward enrollments.
